Every Donation Helps

The Las Cruces Symphony Association is a non-profit, 501(c)(3), organization.

To carry out our mission, the support of forward-thinking individuals and businesses that recognize the value of the arts in our community is essential.

For more than 65 years, the LCSO has been a leader among the arts in Las Cruces, employing more than 70 musicians who live and work in our area. Ticket sales only support about 40 percent of the cost of producing concerts. That is why we depend on fundraising and generous donations from our patrons and sponsors.
In addition, your donations bring together our musicians and music lovers. Your support truly helps inspire, educate, and engage the community we are honored to serve. Live music is emotionally inspiring for all ages. It is also good for business and is part of the quality of life many look for when moving here. Your donation will enable the artistry of the LCSO to continue to be experienced throughout the region, bringing the highest quality symphonic music to our community.

Please consider clicking the donation button and making a contribution to support the Las Cruces Symphony Orchestra and help us rise to the challenge.

Corporate Sponsorship

Las Cruces Symphony Orchestra (LCSO) is a community supported orchestra, requiring the ongoing support of people willing to invest in the future of live music performance. Our mission is to present and promote music of the highest artistic quality for the region's enrichment and serve our community as a musical, cultural, and educational resource. Through the “Adopt a Chair” Program, contributors endorse our mission and ensure highest quality through annual or multi-year sponsorship.

An “Adopt a Chair” sponsor provides funding for a specific musician’s salary; thus, establishing long-term sustainable funding for our orchestra. As a sponsor, you choose a specific instrument (based on availability), receive special program recognition, and an invitation to post-concert receptions where you can meet and get to know the musician holding the chair you have sponsored. Many chair sponsors in established programs in other orchestras have underwritten the same musician for years and developed ongoing friendships. This program provides an opportunity to know more about the orchestra from an insider’s perspective and to draw a closer connection between the players and the audience.

Chairs can be sponsored in your name, your family’s name, or in the name of a company. Chairs can also be recognized in honor or in memory of a loved one. The sponsorship will begin at the time of the gift and sponsors can renew yearly with first choice to sponsor the same chair. The sponsorship is not designated for a specific musician (although many players hold the same chair for multiple years), but rather for the “chair” or position in the orchestra.
