Meet the Orchestra - Las Cruces Symphony Orchestra
View The Las Cruces Symphony’s COVID-19 Message

Just as many businesses and organizations have been profoundly affected by the COVID-19 Pandemic, so has the Las Cruces Symphony. We have cancelled live performances through the end of 2020 and hope to return in February of 2021. To be notified of updated performance information, sign up for email notifications.

Without the ability to perform for the public, we are unable to generate essential operating revenue. Until we have certainty that our economy can remain open and audiences are ready and able to return to large public gatherings, we are not able to resume concerts. You can support LCSO by taking part in our virtual performance and fundraiser on November 19 at 7 p.m. Mountain Standard Time.

Our best wishes go out to our patrons, sponsors, and supporters.

Our Members

The Las Cruces Symphony Orchestra, under the baton of Music Director and Conductor Ming Luke, consists of faculty, community, and student musicians performing with exceptional guest artists from around the world; a select professional ensemble that performs a wide variety of literature from the standard orchestral repertoire. Principal players and artist faculty at NMSU provide leadership in the orchestra. Each season, the 70-member orchestra performs four pairs of Classical Concerts and one POPS concert.
